Men’s Tennis Stumbles in Top-10 Matchup with No. 3 Chicago

Janesville, Wis., April 14, 2018– The No. 10-ranked Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team could not overcome a 3-0 doubles deficit as the Bears suffered a 7-2 loss to No. 3 University of Chicago Saturday in Janesville, Wis.

Chicago improved to 12-3 with the win, while WashU fell to 11-7.

• The Bears were swept in doubles for the second time this season
• WashU is 6-7 this season against nationally-ranked opponents

• Neves had his 16-match singles winning streak snapped
• Van der Sman has won seven-straight singles matches
